end I think I much prefer being in tune with them more then anything else.
And anyway, it’s not even really a conscious choice, it just is.
A very long time ago when one of my felines was just a kitten he used to get into all kinds of trouble. Not normal kitten trouble, but more like diablo trouble! I swear he was kitten genius at pushing buttons. One person while observing him said, you know, he’s a reason for animal abuse. Lol ugh. Anyway, every time he did something
really bad I would find myself picking him up and kissing his face off. Another dear friend stated, is that what you call punishment?
The thing is, he’s one of these THICK headed beings. I know there’s no changing him. And oddly enough this actually became something people loved about him. I never grew to share that sentiment exactly, I mean why lie about it? But I love him very much and we have dialogued probably a tad bit more then me and the rest of the felines here as a result. I get him and he gets me even if we don’t see eye to eye. And this thick headedness came in very handy some years later when I fell into getting a dog that was as equally thick headed. But that’s another story.
One of the many things I’ve learned about cats is that the quickest way to
quell the incessant ..in your face… on your paper.. in front of your pc screen.. is to kiss their face over and over. Give em what they want in abundance and all is well in the kingdom. Let it be their idea. So for all of you who feel like the feline(s) in your life is an attention-seeking nag, just know that they want your love and affection for a second. Is that paper or magazine really all that important that you can’t take 30 seconds out to reciprocate? Eh, go head. The reward is astoundingly wonderful.
