We could very well list over 40 animals here but we will begin with our latest angels of 2012.
Sammy (Sam)
The good will ambassador, greeter, comforter and gentle soul to all fur an non fur people alike. You were an angel when you were in 3D and I can't wait to see you again.
Yoda
Little Yoda. You left 20 years too soon my sweet boy. Our psychic connection is still strong and you are always with me. Thank you for your wisdom and love.
Mama Cat
The finest of the ferals there ever was. Some human had cut her tail off and after that she had so many litters until we had her TNR'd and gave her a safe place to live. She was a fine mother and a tough spirit and yet she allowed us to love her as much as a feral could allow. It was an honor.
Sweet Juniper 2013
Its always too soon. Until she meets Mom again, always in our hearts.
"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan." ~ Iriving Townsend
Sweet Iris
Iris breached that "fragile circle" a few minutes after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was a quiet, gentle little lady who taught me patience and strength in so very many ways. She earned her wings! Soar my little girl -- "Second star to the right and straight on till morning...I'll meet you there." Mommy Jan
Max
There were much better younger pictures that could have been chosen to put here but this is how he looked weeks before he left us. He is here with one of his many feline fans. Its my hope to someday write a story of Max and our almost 14 year journey together. I miss my big bear every day and so do his felines.
Tuffy
From what we know Tuffy spent his entire life on the streets and it seems due to his gentle nature incurred so many battle wounds that his ears were severely scarred. At the same time of his neuter Tuffy's ears were tended to but you could still see the permanent damage done to them. And how cute was that fat face? If I had to say I had a favorite feral, I think he would be it. I'm so glad we were able to pull him off the streets and into a warm enviornment where he could relax and never have to worry about another fight again, or to search for food. See you again someday my gentle soul.
Seymour 2013
His quiet, nurturing presence will be sorely missed....
